Chapter 14; Descent on the Earth
When the first woe came, God has made His servants overcome by giving them the authority of the seal, and when the second woe came, He has put the chosen churches in the prepared place and nourished and protected them from the harm of the red dragon.
Now Chapters 14 to 19 show how the chosen churches will be and how the enemies will be, when Judgement of the third woe comes following the descent onto the earth.
In other words, when the woe like in Chapter 9 comes, the Work like in Chapters 10 and 11 will happen, and the kingdom of the world will become the Kingdom of Christ. The Gospel of the prophets who ‘prophesy again’ is shown from Chapter 12, that is, how to flee from the second woe. By the authority of the witnesses the first woe is fled, but regarding the second and the third woes, those who believe and obey the Gospel of the end will be saved under the prophesied protection from the prophesied tribulation.
The Lamb was standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His name and the name of His Father written on their foreheads; the sin of all men was forgiven by the name of Jesus, while the authority to judge is the vengeance for the grudge. So Judgement is the fulfillment of all prophecies through the combination of the name of the LORD and the name of Christ.
In short, the authority to judge according to the truth of the plumb line is the seal, which is the seal of the authority of the name. (1)
A voice like the sound of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder was heard; it is the loud sound of singing the great victory. The sound of the harps signifies the peaceful situation. (2)
They are eligible to sing a new song so that they can learn the song and sing it, because they have overcome the red dragon and have been redeemed from the earth. (3)
These are the ones who have not taken individual acts but gathered in one group, and also they have overcome the harlot-like power and kept themselves chaste. Also these are the ones who follow only the Lord and have been perfectly redeemed as first fruits to God and to the Lamb. Their mouth without lie produces fruit and their blameless personality prepares to be brides. These are the alive saints who have been transfigured and ascended to heaven receiving the kingship, and they descend to the earth as the victorious warriors with Jesus, in order to destroy the force of the beast according to the Gospel they have preached. Another angel appeared the fourth time. In Chapter 7 he had the seal of the living God, and in Chapter 8 he brought up the prayers to heaven, and in Chapter 10 he cried out loud and here he, having an eternal Gospel, tells that Judgement has come and Babylon is completely fallen.
Therefore, the work of this another angel definitely indicates the Eastern Work at the end of Christianity that will destroy Babylon and fulfill the New Era. So, as eastern Cyrus struck Babylon in Old Testament, the Work of authority from the rising of the sun will strike Babylon at the end of spiritual Israel, and the New Era will come. (6~8)
The plumb line is that the world will end by the Word. This eternal Gospel indicates the truth of the plumb line that leads into the perfect rest. If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or upon his hand, he will fall in Judgement of the wrath and perish forever: this is the main point of the plumb line of Judgement at the end of Christianity. (9~11)
Therefore, the true saints are the ones who persevere and keep until the end. (12)
Like this, there will be Judgement according to the eternal Gospel, and the dead who have been faithful in their martyr-like life and died in the Lord will inherit the glory according to their deeds in the peaceful Kingdom. (13)
Those who have preached the eternal Gospel at the end have the responsibility to wage the last war to eliminate the enemies.
The reason is because it is the answer to the prayers of the saints who have died in the Lord. Harvest by a sharp sickle indicates Judgement to destroy the evil human force as in Joel 3:13. (14~16)
The grapes are gathered and thrown to the wine press of the wrath of God, and blood came out up to the horses’ bridles; it means the elimination of the power of the false prophet. The choicest vine was planted but it becomes the wild grapes, which is the depraved servants. (17~20) (ref. Isaiah 5:1~)
